Frank Janca

|EN|   Janca studied art at the Student’s Art League in New York where he worked under the direction of Robert Beverly Hale and David Leffel. He spent hours copying the works of the masters at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the life of the masters fascinated him. This gave him the inspiration to look for new perspectives for his own work. He then ventured to paint in ‘plein air’ in Europe. The light and color in the landscapes in the south of France makes up for all the inspiration he puts on his canvas. Janca continues to come the the south of France to paint and teach.
